An aerial ladder platform and a fire engine were sent to support the ambulance service at an incident in Worthing.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said they were called at 10.36am to attend an address in Ham Way to support the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

She added: “An appliance and the aerial ladder platform were sent from Worthing and we left site at 11.52am.”

The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
