Traffic is back to normal on Tarring Road, Worthing, after the road was closed earlier today (Wednesday, June 8) due to a ‘suspicious package’.
Sussex Police said officers attended an address in Tarring Road at around 9am.
A police spokesperson said: “Inside the address, officers were concerned about a suspicious package that was found.”
They said that The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team was called to the scene and the road was closed as a precaution.
AA Traffic News now shows that the road is back to normal.
