Child suffers head injuries in Midhurst collision

A child is said to have suffered head injuries following a collision in Midhurst this morning (Friday, May 15).

A number of emergency services attended the scene this morning in Oakwood Close just after 11am.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the collision to come forward.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "An 11-year-old pedestrian suffered a head injury in a collision with a car in Midhurst on Friday morning (May 15).

"Emergency services were called to Oakwood Close at 11.08am. The child was conscious and breathing at the scene and their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"Any witnesses are asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 399 of 15/05."
