Cranleigh pupils gain ‘exceptional’ drama exam results

Lower and middle School actors and actresses, aged seven to 11, from Cranleigh Preparatory School took their exams with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

Examinations were taken in the speaking of verse and prose, devised drama, and acting. An outstanding 26 pupils were also marked at 90 per cent or over.

Cranleigh Prep’s LAMDA Teacher, Mrs Juliet Merrett, said: “The children worked so incredibly hard and these exceptional results are well deserved. They’re a real credit to the school.”

The whole school community is looking forward to some wonderful productions once remote learning ends.
