These adorable dogs at a Sussex animal rescue are up for adoption. Could you give any of them a loving home?

Here are the latest dogs looking for homes at the RSPCA, which has branches in both West and East Sussex.

When Ted arrived he was a very shy boy and took a few days to settle with the team at the RSPCA. He is now much happier and loves fuss and attention. He can still be a little worried by new people, especially men, but does really well after a nice introduction. Ted is housetrained and will sit when asked. He enjoys his walks and is good on the lead. Ted has been very good with other dogs and enjoys their company on walks. He has lived with a cat in his previous home so may be OK with a dog savvy cat. Ted is looking for an experienced owner who is used to dogs who are a little worried by new experiences. He could live with older children who have lived with dogs before and know how to behave around them when they are shy. Ted will need regular grooming to keep his coat in good condition and may require trips to a dog groomer.

Marlin is a friendly, lively, sometimes over-excitable boy who enjoys fuss and attention. He loves to play with toys and is learning to play fetch nicely with a ball. He will need some training, especially around walking calmly and quietly on a lead and may not be fully house-trained initially but should learn quickly. Marlin is sociable with other dogs and could live with a resident female dog in his new home but would not want to live with another male. He would prefer a home without cats or small animals. Marlin is looking for a very active home and could possibly live with older children who are used to bouncy dogs. He is a new arrival who is still being assessed.

He loves his food and treats which really helps people gain his trust. Milo will need some basic training and will take time to settle into a new home. He would be best living in a quiet suburban or rural area and will need an adult only home. Milo will require any potential adopters to visit him several times at the shelter before taking him home, so he can create a bond and feel secure with his new family.
