Fears mount over missing Sussex child

POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a missing 13-year-old from Crawley who has links to Littlehampton.

Cameron Gittins was last seen at 8.30am on Friday (July 16) but did not go to school.

The youngsters has friends in Littlehampton and Crawley and enjoys hanging around the skate park in the both of the towns.

However, despite this information, officers have been unable to find him.

PC Ben Whitehead said: “There’s nothing to suggest that Cameron is in any danger but because of his age and the fact that no one has seen or heard from him since Friday we are becoming concerned.

“If you have seen Cameron or know where he could be please contact us. We need to find him to make sure he is okay.”

Cameron is white, 5ft and slim with short brown hair.

He does not have a mobile phone but had a black scooter with him when he was last seen.

He was wearing navy blue trousers and a black and grey hooded top.
