Findon friends’ lemonade stand raises hundreds for Worthing Hospital

Villagers gave generously when two 12-year-old friends set up a lemonade stand in Findon to raise money for Worthing Hospital.

Mabel Gilmour and Martha Diaper sold drinks and snacks on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25, from the driveway at Mabel’s house and managed to raise £617.

Nancy Gilmour, Mabel’s mum, said: “We had amazing support and donations - a big shout out to Chris and Sam Sherman, donating £100, and Pam and Derek Falkingham for their generous donation. The girls are super proud.

“All followed the social distancing rules on the day, everything was individually wrapped, and the response was amazing.
