Fire engines have been called to an incident in Silverdale Road, Eastbourne, new pictures show.

Pictures sent to Sussex World by a reader show three fire engines – including an aerial ladder platform – attending an incident in Eastbourne, East Sussex yesterday evening (July 10).

A spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “We were called on 10 July at 6.22pm to reports of a dangerous structure in Silverdale Road, Eastbourne.

There were three fire engines in attendance from Eastbourne and Hastings Bohemia Road, including the Aerial Ladder Platform. There were no casualties reported. Crews made the structure safe and left the scene at 7.44pm.”
