A bygone era was brought to life when a vintage steam train departed from Worthing railway station.

The Oliver CromwellBristolian” locomotive set off from Worthing at 8.33am on Saturday to take passengers on a trip to Bath and Bristol.

The train travelled west, offering views of Arundel Castle towards Chichester and along to Salisbury, across to Wiltshire and then onto Bristol and Bath before returning to Worthing at 8.42pm,
