Oh V.E. Day. Oh V.E. Day

The happiest day for some,

Others were crying tears,

While others were having fun.

Finally the brutal war was won

People could now have some fun!

Celebrating the victory of Europe

People were happy the war was won

Some people's hearts were broken

Because loved ones were gone

Fleeing their lives, to protect us all

Crying,

Singing,

Others dancing all day long

Sharing rationed food

For people to eat, all the food they want.

Oh V.E. Day. Oh V.E. Day,

Finally the war was over.

YAY!
