Lion Valerie Roberts, district officer for Young Ambassadors, said: “Leo has started a new business supplying SodaStream gas canisters but with a distinct environmental bias. He uses an electric bike to deliver the canisters and calculates he has saved thousands of road miles and more than 320kg of CO2 emissions so far.

“As Leo is dyslexic, he gets help from his brother with the website and publicity for the business. He donates £1 from every sale to water charities through the B1G1 portal.

“Leo attends BHASVIC and also teaches children martial arts and calisthenics, and volunteers in community ecological projects such as beach cleans, the community farm and painting and renovation work at his local church.

“We wish him good luck with the finals, which are being held on Zoom.”
