Man rescued after getting trapped in rocks on Worthing beach

A man had to be rescued from rocks on Worthing beach after becoming trapped yesterday evening (Wednesday, June 17).

Emergency services attended the scene just after 6pm.

Crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) and HM Coastguard helped rescue the man.

On Twitter, WSFRS said two appliances from Worthing Fire Station were sent to the scene, along with the Technical Rescue Unit frm Horley.
