Lucy Armand, nine, is a member of Sussex Tornados in Littlehampton but all the competitions have had to be cancelled.

Mum Emma Armand said: “She asked us for a challenge to work for and she had gone for a run that morning with her dad, so he suggested she train for a 10k and try to raise some money for a charity that meant a lot to us as a family.

Lucy has managed to raise £500. Visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emma-armand1 to make a donation.
