Sussex Police received a report of a locked bike being stolen from Brighton Road, Worthing, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 1, police said.
Now, officers would like to speak to this man who was captured on the CCTV footage walking along Brighton Road with a bike.
A spokesman said: "If you recognise this man or have information to assist the police investigation please report it to us either online or call 101 quoting reference 1139 of 01/07."
