9. Heroic jet-skier saved man's life at sea after kayak sank
A tragic incident out at sea in June could have been even more so if it wasn't for Jack Williams, from Littlehampton. The 28-year-old jet-skier was on his way home with four of his, Littlehampton jet ski club, friends when he spotted someone was in trouble in the water at Selsey. A kayaker was stranded in the freezing cold water, having been separate from his friend, Shane Davies. Jack was able to pull the man onto his jet ski and save him. However, despite his best efforts to find Shane, the 33-year-old was sadly found dead. This shouldn't take away from the heroic efforts of Jack, whose action prevented a second life being lost at sea. My thoughts remain with Shane's family and friends. https://www.chichester.co.uk/news/heroic-littlehampton-jet-skier-saved-mans-life-at-sea-after-kayak-sank-near-selsey-3273918
10. Where Chichester residents can find rare robotic pizza machine
Ever wished you can get a pizza from a vending machine? Well, now you can! Chichester and nearby West Ashling are home to the UK's first two robotic vending machines, which were designed by pub owners Will and Emma Jack. It was awesome to learn how the machine works and I even got to try the wood-fired pizza, which was ready to eat in just over three minutes.
