School pays tribute to Lucy and its students

The hour-long service, led by the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, Kieran Conry, also celebrated other students’ achievements from the past school year.

Mike Madden, head teacher of Chatsmore High School said: “It has become a tradition in the school. It’s a really good community day.

“It was a celebration of the talents of our young people, particularly Lucy.”

Mike said there had been discussions about creating a spiritual garden at the school in memory of Lucy.
