Shoreham Coastguard join search for missing child in Lancing
It was a busy start to the day for the Shoreham Coastguard team.
The crew was paged to assist the Littlehampton Coastguard following a report of a missing child in Lancing.
The child was located safe, a spokesman said.
Earlier that morning, the crew was paged to a report of a man in the water in Hove.
The Shoreham RNLI lifeboat crew was also tasked to the scene – but was stood down on route after it was established that the man had left the area and was OK, a spokesman said.
