5. Worthing Carnival 2021
There was fun for all as the Worthing Carnival returned, with Worthing and Highdown Rotary Clubs, supported by the newly-formed Littlehampton Satellite Rotary Club, joining forces to ensure a fun-filled event over the two days Children were entertained by Punch and Judy, and enjoyed chasing bubbles, as well as taking advantage of the bouncy castles and fairground rides. 6. Worthing Pride 2021
Worthing Pride returned to Beach House Grounds in September and smashed expectations after a difficult 18 months. Despite Brighton Pride being cancelled, Worthing was able to go ahead with the annual celebration of the LGBTQI+ community. 7. Worthing Food & Drink Festival
The popular Worthing Food & Drink Festival returned to Steyne Gardens in September with more than 60 food and drink stalls, entertainment and a chilli eating competition. 8. Ferring Scarecrow Festival
Ferring Scarecrow Festival attracted more than 70 entries this year, competing for three awards. This was the second year of the festival, with a trail to follow around North Ferring and South Ferring. Organiser Lynzie Crompton, who runs the Ferring Village group on Facebook, said there was an amazing response to the scarecrows this year, giving the village such a lovely buzz and raising money lots of money for Ferring Country Centre Photo: Haywards Heath
