Tracy Bowdery said her children Reuben, ten, and Isla, eight, decided to do the walk to support the Poppy Appeal as they could not take part in the usual parade for Remembrance Sunday.

The pair, who are both pupils at Vale School in Findon Valley, did the walk in stages and completed their 27.5 miles on Thursday night, raising £530.
