OVER £1,000 was raised for charity at Worthing mayor Bob Smytherman’s celebratory birthday quiz last night (Wednesday, November 27).
Scores of eager quiz lovers packed the Palatine Park Clubhouse for the event, in aid of the mayor’s charities - Worthing Mind, Guild Care and Alzheimer’s Society.
The quiz was hosted by Dave Hunt and radio dj Simon Osborne.
