HERALD reader Emily Karchewski wanted to bring us some festive cheer by sending in this snap of her hedge.
She lives in Newland Road and has cut the hedge into the shape of Thomas the Tank Engine
She said: “I originally did this back in June for the National Autistic Society’s annual Trainwalk. Autistic children are often fond of Thomas as he has a facial expressions which are easier to read.
“I myself have a four-year-old old son with autism who attends Palatine Primary School.
“This year, I decided to decorate Thomas for Christmas. I have had lots of comments from passers-by saying how they enjoy seeing him.”
