Storm Imogen’s arrival yesterday led to part of Worthing’s promenade looking more like the beach.
Nikki Sheeran took some snaps at Splash Point this morning, following yesterday’s stormy weather.
They show how the shingle and seaweed was washed onto the prom by the sea, amid howling winds.
Earlier yesterday, Shaftesbury Avenue in Worthing had to be closed after scaffolding collapsed, with photographers Eddie Mitchell and Peter Pollack both sending in pictures of the scene.
The stormy weather did provide the backdrop for Ben Grist’s stunning image of Worthing Pier.
