PICTURES: Two arrested in Worthing drugs raid

A man and a woman were arrested yesterday following a drugs raid by police.

At 2.30pm, police searched an address in Chapel Road, Worthing, after obtaining a drugs warrant.

Terry Akehurst, 50, who lived at the property was arrested and charged with breaching bail conditions. He is due to appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court today.

A 20-year-old woman, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and bailed until May 9, pending further enquiries.
