Shoreham Airport has provided an update about this morning’s plane crash.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that there was an incident this morning involving a Piper Cub light aircraft.
“The airport’s fire service team was dispatched immediately and recovered the passengers safely.
“We’re pleased to report that no-one was injured, and the aircraft is being recovered for investigation.”
As previously reported, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was contacted at just before 11.10am about the crash and attended the scene at the airport. Read the story here.
