Located on the former site of the Worthing’s bandstand, red brick paving is being laid and will be accompanied by covered seating.

This is part of the £1.2million works to improve the town’s main shopping street.

Works should be completed by June, with further phases to pedestrianise Montague Place and repave the rest of Montague Street to follow.

The total cost of the project is expected to reach £6million, with the first designs drawn up in September 2013.
