PLANNING: Nursery bid to have age limit raised

Kiddie Kare Ltd wants Arun to change a condition imposed in November, which bars children over five from attending between 8.30am and 3.30pm.

The company claims the restriction is ‘unreasonable’ and prevents parents from leaving older children there in school holidays.

The application is in the latest list submitted to Arun in the Gazette area, including:

ARUNDEL: change of use from house to holiday let, Brooklands, Priory Lane.

CLIMPING: renewal of consent for four-bedroom house and detached garage (this application is a departure from the development plan), land at entrance to Waterford Gardens, Horsemere Green Lane.

Rear extension and loft conversion (re-submission of CM/7/14/HH), Redcot, Climping Street.

EAST PRESTON: single-storey rear extension, 43 Worthing Road.

Re-building following major fire damage – proposed works to include rebuilding first floor and roof, with plain clay tile roof finish instead of the previous thatched roof finish (re-submission of EP/97/14/HH) 34 Tamarisk Way.

Demolish detached double garage and rebuild new two-storey attached extension to east elevation, 24 Elm Avenue.

KINGSTON: sun-room to side (west) elevation and creation of new balcony to single-storey rear extension roof, Newcote Farm, Kingston Lane, East Preston.

LITTLEHAMPTON: raise height of front boundary wall, 11 Irvine Road.

New roof extension with single-storey rear extension (re-submission following LU/163/14/HH), 11 Clun Road.

Demolish house and detached single garage and build a three-bedroom house with two detached garages (re-submission following LU/206/14/PL), Norway Farm House, Norway Lane.

RUSTINGTON: replace shopfront, 9 Churchill Parade, The Street.

Rebuild conservatory and extend roofs, 16 Amberley Road.
