Plea from missing Ferring woman's daughter

THE 11-year-old daughter of missing Elaine Taggart has made a heartfelt appeal to her mother asking her to get in touch.

Sophie Taggart's open letter reads: "Dear mum, if you hear this letter please phone someone and tell them you are ok because I am worried because you haven't phoned us or come home in a long time. Love Sophie."

Mrs Taggart has missed both Mothers' Day and her son Daniel's birthday 14th birthday on March 4.

She has not been seen at her home, which she shared with her husband Andy and their two children in Ferring village since early January. She has not reported for work as a catering finance manager for Chartwells at Brighton College since January 3.

Mrs Taggart's 90-year-old father Chelsea Pensioner Douglas Hassall appealed for her to make contact at the end of February, but there is still no word from her.
