Police fund pays for PA system
Heene Community Centre in Worthing received a £500 police donation to help fund a new PA system.
Centre manager Noel Atkins thanked Sussex Police for their fundraising efforts and said the new PA system and speakers will allow them to ‘make announcements to our residents concerning their wellbeing’.
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of property confiscated by the court and then sold, with proceeds going to the police.
