Police hunt for Worthing pharmacy burglar

A BURGLAR stole perfume from a pharmacy in Worthing yesterday morning.

Police are appealing for information after the Vantage Pharmacy in Broadwater Street West, Worthing, was burgled at around 2.50am yesterday morning (Thursday, August 5).

The offender, who is described as white and aged 25, was seen running down the alley between the pharmacy and the Co-op.

"Detectives are in the early stages of investigating the burglary," said PC Abi Lunn.

"PSCOs are currently conducting house-to-house enquiries and CCTV has been seized. A dog unit tracked the scent of the offender to Forest Road.

"If anyone was in Broadwater Street West or Forest Road and saw something suspicious they should contact us immediately."

The man is thought to be 5'10 with a stocky build and tanned legs.He was wearing a black hooded running jacket and grey shorts.
