Police warning over summer burglary fears
AN ELDERLY woman was burgled last Friday as she was outside her home gardening.
The thief forced a side window of the Upper Brighton Road home to steal jewellery and credit cards.
Police fear the warm weather may see a repeat of last year's spate of similar burglaries in the Charmandean area.
Sergeant Chris Smith urged people to keep doors and windows closed while outside their home.
