Police warningon Camber beach
Police are warning people to keep a close eye on their property and children while on the beach at Camber Sand s.
Rye police sergeant Warren Downs said: “Please do not leave items on view in your car for the day, or leave your valuables unattended on the beach. The sands are a large area and children can easily get lost.
“A wristband system is run throughout the summer to keep your children safe.
“Wristbands can be obtained from the coastal officers office in the main car park. Please take advantage of this system.”
