The former PM has handed out peerages and honours to MPs, remain campaigners, advisors, and Tory Party donors.

The list was leaked during the weekend and was officially published on Thursday night (August 4) even after a massive public backlash.

Writing on Twitter last night, Tory MP for East Worthing and Shoreham Tim Loughton said: “To have your resignation honours list leaked is unfortunate.

“To go ahead with it after such a public outcry about cronyism, chumocracy and bringing whole honours system into disrepute stinks, not least for those on list who actually deserve to be and previous worthy recipients.”
