The four-week project, which the council estimated should cost around £45,000, is scheduled to begin on Monday (January 11).

Temporary lane closures will be in place and road users have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys, or use alternative routes, for the duration.

Shops and businesses will be able to open as normal.

The project is part of £19million of improvement works to West Sussex’s roads and footways which started in September last year, scheduled to be finished by this March.
