The #WestSussexMatters campaign will see infographics being posted on Twitter and Facebook over the next 50 days.

Each post will highlight work carried out in West Sussex involving highways and transport, education and learning, waste, fire and rescue, economy and grant funding, trading standards, care and wellbeing, and children and families.

Louise Goldsmith, leader of the county council, said: “Our staff work tirelessly throughout the year delivering services to over 800,000 residents in West Sussex.

“They work hard to ensure residents feel supported when they need us.

“We wanted to shine a light on this work, and give people some idea of the scale of what the county council does, every single day.”

You can keep track of the campaign by following @WSCCNews on Twitter, and West Sussex Matters on Facebook.
