The cabinet has recommend the council to agree to freeze council tax for the fourth year in a row, a decision which will be confirmed at next month’s full council meeting.

Cabinet members also approved to take on new initiatives to prevent homelessness, work better with the public and other local authorities and support the Government’s Green Deal to help residents improve their homes to make them more energy efficient.
