Poppy Appealfundraising is launched

OCTOBER is a busy month for the Royal British Legion’s Steyning branch and women’s section, starting with the launch of the Poppy Appeal.

Branch members manned a stall at Steyning Farmers’ Market on October 5 and many people stopped to make donations.

On Saturday, the women’s section is hosting an autumn buffet at the Steyning Centre at midday. Tickets are £7 from Steyning Butchers and Chris Morgan, fishmonger, in High Street.
