Post Office evacuated due to lift fumes

Worthing Post Office staff were evacuated from the Chapell Road building this morning (Friday) after fumes were detected coming from a lift.

A Fire and Rescue crew was called to the scene at 8.45am.

Although the incident was declared a false alarm, staff were evacuated as a precaution.
