Project receives funding

THE Community House on Dominion Road in Worthing has been successful in its application to the Big Lottery Fund.

The funding has secured the future of the house until 2020.

The project will be part funded by Worthing Homes and will continue to help people change and improve the lives, skills and prospects of over 1,000 local residents over the next five years.

Jackie Bligh, chief executive, said: “The Big Lottery Fund awarding us further funding recognises that the staff and volunteers at the Community House are providing a great service and homely environment.”
