Promises Auctionin aid of Bonfire
A SIGNED bottle of Scotch from the Houses of Parliament and a champagne flight from Lydd Airport are just some of the lots in an Auction of Promises to raise funds for Rye Bonfire Society.
The event takes place on Thursday May 15 at the Mermaid Inn with viewing from 7.30pm.
Neale East, from the Society, said: “Thanks to the support of many local businesses and residents alike we have lots of fine items up for auction.”
Other lots include a kite buggy lesson, antiques and jewellery and meals at local restaurants.
