Public meeting on future of town centre
AN IMPORTANT public meeting takes place at Lewes Town Hall on Monday, March 5, starting at 7.45pm, on the subject of How Should the Centre of Lewes Be Redeveloped.
It has been organised by Phoenix Action in association with Lewes Flood Action and Malling Residents Association.
One of the schemes to be discussed is the Phoenix Quarter plan fof the bottom of Norh Street which involves 800 new homes, a multi-storey car park, new roads and a bridge over the river.
