Recipes wanted by West Sussex drug and alcohol action team

The network, which runs drop-in centres throughout the county for families and friends who have been affected by someone else’s drink and substance misuse, is producing a recipe book.

Abby Burch, a support worker with the network, said: “One of the aims is to promote the importance of families getting together and communicating.

“Being a recipe book, it will highlight the fact that food and mealtimes are really important to all families. It’s when they’re together, enjoying a meal and sharing thoughts and views about their day without any distractions.”
