Lyn Towler, who works for property management company FirstPort, has moved on after ten years at Homesteyne House, Broadwater Road, and left at the end of last week.

The residents clubbed together to buy presents and held a surprise party in the lounge on Wednesday.

Keith Limon, one of the organisers, said: “I am relatively new but we have organised the event. She is very, very well loved. She is very professional in her job and gives her spare time freely. She will be sadly missed.”

Lyn is taking up a new role with FirstPort at Kings Hall, a larger complex in Park Road, Worthing.

She said the residents at Homesteyne were a good crowd.
