Retro gaming expo for fans of the arcades

THE largest coin-operated arcade game exhibition in Europe is coming to Worthing this Easter weekend.

More than 100 pinball machines will be at the event in the Charmandean Centre, in Brighton Road, as well as arcade games from the 80s and 90s.

The event’s main tournament will see hundreds of professional players from across Europe competing for world ranking points to enable them to compete in high-level competitions in America.

Will Barber, event organiser, said: “It’s such a cool thing to see adults showing little ones where their games came from.”

Jeff Minter, creator of Attack of the mutant camels, and Archer McClean, who creator of Dropzone will be at the event.
