Road cleared following incident near Findon
One lane of the A24 was blocked after a car left the road this morning.
The incident took place on the A24 Findon Road Southbound, according to travel reports.
Sussex Police said the ambulance and fire service were also called to the scene, however it turned out the incident had happened some hours before.
There were no injuries and the vehicle was recovered.
At around the same time, in a separate incident, a broken down car in the area also led to delays, the spokesman said.
The road is now cleared.
