Rotary club’s ‘marvellous’ annual barbecue
MORE than 90 people attended the annual Worthing Rotary Club barbecue recently, raising almost £1,000 for charity.
Money was raised for the Cleft Palate Children of Sumatra through ticket sales to the event, which took place in Grand Avenue, Worthing, on Wednesday, July 24.
Rotary members donated a variety of homemade cakes for dessert andthere was also live music.
Fundraiser Carol Molineaux said: “It was marvellous, I have had letters and calls to say the food was wonderful.
“We were very lucky the weather held up.”
