Rustington author’s rainbow of hope

ALL the colours of the rainbow are likely to fascinate children reading a new book which also aims to brighten the lives of people suffering from a genetic condition.

Author Wendy Hughes, from Rustington, has teamed up with Polish author Madlen Namro for her latest book Rainbow Stories: Facts and Something to Do.

Wendy turned to writing in the late 1980s as an outlet for her frustration, after years of ill health, and before she was finally diagnosed with Stickler syndrome, which affects joints and connective tissue and in some cases can cause facial disfigurement.

Wendy has had 26 books published to date and copies of Rainbow Stories can be obtained from The Stickler Syndrome Support Group, PO Box 3351, Littlehampton, BN16 9GB price £7.50 post free.
