Through the sale of homemade cakes and savoury snacks, as well as funds raised through competitions, schoolwear specialist Charles Kirk, in Goring Street, Goring, raised £131.10 for the charity.

Some employees and their families have been directly affected by cancer and supported by Macmillan nurses.

Bianca Cantwell, from Charles Kirk, said: “This is a charity that is close to the heart of the company.”

She added that the homemade samosas were very popular.
