Sandhurst

Football Club: Sandhurst Football Club has two teams competing in the East Sussex League. Matches are played at the village recreation ground and training takes place on Tuesdays at 6.30pm, also at the recreation ground. New players are always welcome. Book Club: Sandhurst Book Club do not meet in August so after their summer break the next meeting will be on September 16 at the home of Stella (phone 763440) and the book will be Goldfinches by Donna Tartt.

Churchyard Week: The Churchyard Week was not a money making project but over the two afternoons £200 was made. A big thank you to all those who provided cakes and helped over the two days and those who put their hands in their pockets.

Plate Lunch: Sandhurst Baptist Church Purpose Plate Lunch takes place on August 14 in the Church Hall from 12 noon - 2pm. To book call Ken or Liz on 01580 850446.
