PATIENTS at a dental surgery in Worthing had reason to smile on Wednesday after they were treated by Santa.
Dentists, nurses and receptionists at The Grand Avenue Dental Practice, in Grand Avenue, Worthing, organised their own Santa suit day in aid of St Barnabas House hospice after they were unable to take part on the official date of Friday, December 13.
They raised £138.65.
Georgina Smith, practice manager, said: “We have had a fantastic response from our patients.
“It put a smile on some faces and was good fun.
“We might make it into an annual thing.”
Staff contributed £2 each and donations from patients were received.
The practice’s two principal dentists, Martin Bean and Peter Kaslik, also dressed up for the cause.
Georgina said a former practice manager was helped by St Barnabas prior to her death two years ago.
