School rewarded for providing sport for all

Jez Wong, the head teacher at Broadwater CE Primary School, said he was '˜very pleased' the school had been classified as of gold standard in PE and sport.

It met the criteria for the awards through providing inclusive sport; ensuring quantity of sport participation within school and at inter-school events was high, promoting quality of teaching and providing extensive sports opportunities for all – 75 per cent of the school regularly attended non fee paying extra-curricular clubs.
